GastroMax video recipe: Pan-fried chicken and orange-butter sauce

This chicken dish is perfect for both lunch or dinner. Make it more filling with adding rice on the side. Pack the chicken, rice and the sauce in GastroMax leekproof lunch boxes and take with you to work.

Chicken:

-        1 chicken breast

-        Salt

-        Black pepper

-        0,2 dl oil

-        Fresh rosemary  

-        Fresh thyme

-        0,5 tsp minced/crushed garlic

 

  1. Place the chicken breast in a container with salt, pepper, oil, rosemary, thyme and garlic.
  2. Let marinate while preparing the sauce (see recipe below.)
  3. Heat the frying pan and add the chicken.
  4. Fry on both sides 5-10 minutes (depending on how thick the fillet) is until cooked through.
  5. Serve with the orange-butter sauce and for example cooked rice.

Sauce:

-        2 dl orange juice

-        1 tbsp honey                                                                     

-        100g butter                                                                                                  

-        Fresh tarragon

-        Salt

-        Black pepper

 

  1. Place the orange juice in a sauce pan and let simmer until about half is left.
  2. Add the honey.
  3. Take the pan away from heat.
  4. Add the cold butter to the hot juice and whisk together with a hand blender.
  5. Don’t boil the sauce after this.
  6. Season the sauce with fresh tarragon, black pepper and salt.
