Plastic is a valuable material and recycling plastic is a responsible act for a sustainable future. We promote the recycling of plastics in our communication channels and we actively participate in plastic recycling awareness-raising activities. 

Orthex’s high-quality, safe, and durable products are made for long-term use and are recyclable in all our markets. 

For Orthex recycled plastic is valuable raw material. We want to create value out of what has been discarded, which is why we have used recycled plastic in our production since the 1990s.

Recycling of our products

All Orthex products have a label that shows the symbol of raw material the product is made of. More information on the symbols and their meaning is available on our website.

Please always check your local/municipal guidelines on how to properly sort and recycle different materials.

The French authorities require that the Triman symbol is placed on all storage boxes sold in the French market. The Triman symbol indicates that at the end of its life, the product can be either donated or recycled instead of just disposing.

Recycling of product packaging

Orthex product packages are marked with instructions how to sort and recycle them once the product is removed from the packaging, or once the label is removed from the product.

Most Orthex packages have a QR code together with the Tidyman logo, to indicate that more information on waste management is available by scanning the QR code.
