Product recall for GastroMax™ Pasta Ladle produced in December 2024 (art. no. 6918-1).

A limited batch of GastroMax™ Pasta Ladles may contain primary aromatic amines (PAA) above the regulated limit. As the product comes into contact with food, a health risk from an amount exceeding the permitted level cannot be ruled out.

Batch: December 2024 production batch. The affected batch can be identified by the clock symbols located on the reverse side of the product handle: one clock indicates the production month, and the other indicates the year. For this batch, the lower clock should point to “12” (December) and the upper clock to “24” (2024). (For reference, the example displays clocks set to “11” and “24.”)

Retailers have been instructed to immediately remove the products from sale.

Customers who have purchased the affected products are asked to dispose of the faulty items and send a photo of the production clocks found on the back of the product to Orthex customer service. The purchase will be compensated with a corresponding product.
